Passengers

Infants (INF Code)
- An infant is considered a passenger between 0 and 2 years old (once the infant turns 2, the child fare applies).
- Infants must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older, either a parent or guardian.
- Infants do not occupy a seat and must travel on the adult’s lap.
- For domestic flights within Honduras, infants must have a ticket issued under the parent’s or guardian’s reservation. The departure tax applies to all infants.
- Infant reservations do not include a baggage allowance.
- At check-in, you must present the infant’s original birth certificate or passport.
- An adult cannot travel with two (2) or more infants unless another adult traveling with them assumes responsibility for the second infant. Alternatively, a second infant may travel if the adult brings a child safety seat (such as a car seat) compatible with the aircraft. In this case, the second infant will occupy the adjacent seat and the child fare will apply.
- We accept infants aged ten (10) days or older. If the infant is 10 days old or younger, a medical certificate (endorsed by the Medical College of Honduras) is required. The certificate must state that the infant is fit to travel on non-pressurized aircraft and must include a liability waiver for the airline. (No other type of certificate will be accepted).
Children (CHD Code)
- Children are considered passengers between the ages of 2 and 8, and child fares apply.
- Children aged 9 or older are subject to adult fares.
- At check-in, you must present the child’s original birth certificate or passport.
- Children’s reservations include the same baggage allowance as adult passengers.
Adults (AD Code)
- For fare purposes, all passengers aged 9 or older are considered adults.
- Only passengers aged 18 or older may travel unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Unaccompanied Minors (UMNR Code)
- Unaccompanied minors aged 9 to 18 may travel alone with the approval of a parent, legal guardian, or caregiver. Children under 9 years of age are not allowed to travel unaccompanied.
- An accompanying adult must be present during check-in at the airline counter and complete the necessary forms provided by CM Airlines.
- Upon arrival at the destination, the designated responsible person listed on the form must be at the counter to sign the form and receive the minor.
- The minor may travel alone provided they do not resist traveling without a companion.
- CM Airlines does not accept unaccompanied minors on international flights.
- For passengers aged 18 to 21 traveling alone on international flights (to CA4 member countries), they must present a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity. Adults may travel with identification. For further information, please contact the immigration office.
Senior Citizens (SRC Code)
- This category includes senior citizens eligible for discounts in accordance with Honduran law.
- Senior citizen discounts apply to all Honduran citizens aged 60 or older; foreign nationals must be legal residents of Honduras with valid identification.
- Customers must present valid identification (ID card, passport, or residence card) at the time of ticket purchase to receive the discount.
- Senior citizen discounts are not available for online purchases. To receive this benefit, you must purchase tickets at our offices, airports, or through our Call Center.
Pregnant Women
- Pregnant passengers may travel without issues up to 27 weeks of pregnancy.
- If the passenger is between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy, they must provide a medical certificate at check-in indicating their health status and confirming their fitness to fly, along with the expected date of delivery.
- The certificate must be on official letterhead, signed, and stamped, and the original must be presented at the counter.
- CM Airlines reserves the right to deny air travel if the staff deems that boarding is unsafe for the passenger and the baby.
- After 36 weeks of pregnancy, the passenger is not allowed to travel by air.

Passengers who require special assistance, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing, non-verbal, blind or have visual impairments, paraplegic, or unable to care for themselves due to age, may travel provided they are accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older who can assist them throughout the flight.
Note: Any passenger with a medical condition that may endanger their safety or the safety of others must provide a medical certificate approved by the Medical College of Honduras or, alternatively, a letter on hospital letterhead, signed and stamped by a doctor, stating that the passenger is fit to fly and exempting the airline from liability.
